Parental Board - Parental Control App app for iPhone and iPad
Parental Board is an intuitive parental control app that parents use to build good technology habits with their children that have iPods, iPads and iPhones. Setup is a breeze with our 2 step on-boarding process which configures your child’s device (you can always change them via our web dashboard!). Here are some items that you can control:
◆ In-App Purchases - Block all in-app purchases from the App and iTunes Stores. Helps curb mobile device addiction as the quick in-app purchase to get to the next level is eliminated.
◆ Block the App Store and iTunes Store - Want only the applications that you explicitly have approved to work? Remove access and hide the App Store and iTunes Store apps to achieve this.
◆ Application Control - Block apps such as popular social apps with teens like Skype, Snapchat, Facebook, WhatsApp or violent and addicting games based on the age rating Apple provides. For example, if you want to block the YouTube app, you can select the 12+ age group as YouTube is rated 17+. YouTube will not be available on your child’s device.
◆ Content Control - Limit movies and TV shows based on their ratings. This allows both the blocking of the iTunes store previews/purchases and any content that is already on your child’s device.
◆ Location Tracking - Know where your child is, request a check-in and review their location history.
◆ Geofencing - Fence off an area on a map where your child should be. Get notified if your child decides to leave a baseball practice early and visits a friend instead.
◆ Web Dashboard - Use our advanced functionality to completely customize your child’s iOS device. Further tweak age restrictions for apps and content, setup geofences, track recent locations and additional hardware settings like blocking access to the iOS device’s camera.
NOTES
1. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Parental Board does minimize the use of the GPS when not being used for events such as check-in and setting changes.
2. Setting age restrictions will hide apps from your child’s device and when those restrictions are removed, apps will not go back to their original locations (ie: custom folders). This is normal behavior.
3. Your child can remove the Device Profile that we install - there is currently no way to secure this but do provide a notification if it’s removed.

◆ Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
◆ Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
◆ Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal
◆ Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the users Account Settings after purchase
◆ No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period
